Reports

Meeting with Dirk Hansmeier (WorldFactory)
Dirk has made significant progress on providing a room in the maker forum (1-2 month).
Openproject Wiki
Doerte is working on use cases for OpenProject and developing example projects.
InnovatorInstitute
Project remains confidential, but following can be reported: Material is chosen, data files are prepared and ready, parts will go into production in near future.
Melina is supposed to draw concepts of new posters/flyers etc. for advertisement --> probably most useful to publish and start advertisement when the room is available
Bioprinting-Workshop
Nils spoke with Prof. Brand-Saberi, she supports the workshop. Check with Dr. Koch-Thiele what scope the workshop/seminar should have (1-2 weeks).

Agenda

Goals for InStudies 2018
More Workshops: We have to "bring" some of our goals for this year (InStudies wants to see what we are effectively doing right now, our projects, i.e. Innovator Institute, Bioprinter etc. do not count, it has to be a teaching/research based.

Suggestions:

  • 3D-Printing Workshop --> FreeCad, Slic3r, 3DPrinting principles
  • Programming with Python: Introduction -- > Python
  • Open Science 101 (Standards for Open Documentation) --> OSF, DocEar, Overleaf, Wiki

>> advertise workshops beforehand

new Ideas
Krautgeld.de as financing tool --> App that advertises services and projects ("Instagram of Innovation")

Work package Management

Personal Commitment is requiered in the following 2 weeks
  • Doerte: (still) Openproject Wiki Formating.
  • Dennis: manual backup of system, ECTS accreditation for informatics
  • Nils: About Us section, Innovator_Institute, Report & Goals for Koch-Thiele, Talk with Melina about Poster Templates
  • Alex: Call for Papers --> Video is too much work, presentation is probably easier, focus on Bioprinter and more on initiative
  • Marc: Innovator_Institute, prepare concept of Workshop
